Doughheads Gets Floozy

It’s official! Doughheads have partnered with local coffee chicks, Floozy Coffee Roasters.

“We’re always looking to shake things up and provide the best of the best for our customers,” says Ms Farthing, Doughheads’ Creative Director. “We are all about creating happy people, offering an experience that will indulge the senses and leave you craving more. And we believe that Floozy Coffee is going to help Doughheads take that experience to the next level.”

Cill and Kmac, the effervescent duo behind Floozy, have been working to create an exclusive roast which will compliment Doughheads’ core offering, their doughnuts. With tasting notes of toffee and fudge, this specialty blend of coffee will pair perfectly with any choice from the menu, from the simplest, a Cinnamon Sugar doughnut, which is rolled fresh out of the fryer in cinnamon sugar, to the more adventurous Sticky Date doughnut, which is filled with vanilla bean custard, dipped in date icing and served with pecans and butterscotch sauce. And, this roast will be exclusively available from Doughheads, providing a coffee experience unlike any other and adding yet another reason to the list for customers to visit the store.

“It’s really important that every partnership we undertake adds something special to the Doughheads experience for our customers and this one with Floozy Coffee Roasters is no exception,” says Ms Farthing.

The Floozy girls are lovers of specialty coffee and note only do they have a passion for quality and sustainability, but they are using their influence to empower women within the industry. “Our goal is to promote and advance women in coffee, showcasing the talents of the ladies in our industry and training up future generations of badass coffee chicks. We believe that girls should support girls. That’s why we donate a portion of the profits from every bag to a cause that benefits women in need,” say the co-founders.

The exclusive Doughheads’ blend, #biteme, is now pouring in store and is also available for purchase in retail 250g packs, providing a way for customers to take a little bit of the experience home to enjoy.

To celebrate this new partnership, Doughheads are going to be getting a little floozy in April with some very special offers.
